Brief Description

This project has developed Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
knowledge and capability within the regeneration sector by providing a
user-led GIS consultancy service and delivering practical training in GIS
applications for regeneration practitioners. Current consultancy includes
working with clients to integrate GIS within project evaluation
methodologies, applying GIS to monitoring the quality of open space and
working with partners to develop decision support tools which include
spatial data and GIS. Clients have included the City Fringe Partnership (City
Growth initiative), North Northants Development Corporation, Cockpit Arts,
Creative Lewisham (City Growth), Islington Environment Forum and the
Children & Women’s Abuse Studies Unit (CWASU).

Some of the work undertaken by this project was presented at London
