RAE Outcomes

Research interests:
Studio-based sculptural practice using bronze and English hard-woods; themes derived from European metaphysical still-life painting, conveyed via geometrical form and construction, often in reduced scale; Japanese aesthetic values (i.e wabi-sabi) and artefacts within the cross-cultural in relation to contemporary comparative Euro-Asian thought, product and process.

Invited specialist advisor on sculpture by Futurecity and the St Pancras re-development to advise and select the sculptor for the Sir John Betjeman commission (2007)

Appointed Visitor to the Royal Academy Schools, Royal Academy of Arts, London (From 2006 and ongoing)

External Advisor to UCE in connection with the revalidation of the BA and MA in Fine Art at City & Guilds of London Art School (2003)

Appointed to the Academic Board of Curators to TIPP: Tihany International Postgraduate programme in association with the Hungarian Academy of Fine Art (from 2003 and ongoing)
