Furniture Making

Helen Welch

Furniture and Cabinetmaking
I have been working with wood in some shape or other since leaving school in 1984. I have been self-employed for more years than I care to remember, so lecturing for one day a week feels like a rest.

Silversmithing and Jewllery

Antonio De Gaetani

Design and Maker of Fine Jewellery
Antonio holds a Higher National Diploma in Design, Silversmithing, Jewellery and Allied Crafts from London Guildhall University (Sir Jon Cass Department of Art and Design) where he specialised in Design, Diamond Mounting and Setting.

Antonio is a qualified teacher and has extensive experience of teaching diamond mounting, jewellery and gem-stone setting. He also runs his own business designing and making fine jewellery for a wide range of clients based in both England and Italy.

Charlotte De Syllas

Having trained as a jeweller I have taken stone as the dominant material in my work. Desniging the piece with the stone carved to be as integral to the whole form rather than having a set stone brought in as a preformed object. Teaching jewellers how to cut & carve stone is the aim of my short course.
