Over 3000 pieces of work in 2D, 3D and time-based media by 800-plus talented students will be exhibited at a show called 'Find The Cass', the annual Summer Show of The Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media and Design, making it the biggest event of its kind in London Metropolitan University history.

Fine Art
Interior Design

Jewellery and Silversmithing
Furniture and Product
Film and Broadcast

Upholstery

The week will include a number of special events including The Goldsmiths Awards, The Upholders Awards, The Owen Rowley Awards, The Martin Kemp prize and The University Purchase Prize which recognise the achievements of exceptional students. The Cass Summer Show coincides with Coutts London Jewellery Week, and we are delighted to be Educational Ambassadors for this exciting annual event which celebrates the ongoing success and diversity of one of the City's oldest creative industries.

The publicity materials for the show were designed by Third Year BA Furniture and Product Design student Fernando Galdon, who won a competition to provide a concept for posters, advertisements and invitations for the show. Michael Upton, Academic Leader at the department said, "The panel were impressed by Feranando's use of the underground platform motif - combining found graphics, the idea of The Cass a platform for creative talent. And of course, with Aldgate East a couple of metres from our door we're London's only Art, Media and Design school with it's own tube station!"
