To promote in Italy new sensitivity amongst colleagues an school teachers about the relevance of peace education in our educational institutions is crucially important to allow all people to be part of our pluralistic societies. The challenge is the 'global democracy'. To educate in sharing internationally the values of democratic pluralism is a process which will reinforce global interdependence and active membership of a world society. For educator the target is to deliver education for active global democracy, founded on universal values about the nature of human beings and their social behaviour. Greater peace and harmony in the world need that education plays the vital role in educating for mutual respect for human rights away from ethnic and religious hatred.
