The problem of cultural identity arises in modern Latvian multicultural society and becomes especially actual in the field of pedagogy. Alteration of cultural paradigm typical for the stature of ethno cultural diasporas, depended on the changes in politics and social style of life, influenced the traditional culture of the minorities of Latvia and summoned a crisis of cultural identity. The only way available to overcome it is the creation of the dialogue or integration strategy. Only it could prevent the disturbance and restore the balance between ethnic cultural positive identity, on the one hand, and ethnic tolerance, on the other hand, realising integration of cultural minorities into society of Latvia. Research investigation done in Latvia clarified stature identity for students of minority schools: prescribed identity (or reached identity for teenager who is closed towards alternatives); diffused identity for teenager who is closed towards alternatives; diffused identity for teenager who is opened towards alternatives and reached identity for teenager who is opened towards alternatives.
