This paper addresses these questions based on students´ reflections on a pilot teacher education course at Jönköping University, Sweden. The Intercultural Teacher is a semester course (30 ECTS) for foreign and Swedish students to create an intercultural learning environment. Both course contents and lecturers reflect a multidisciplinary approach, in which theories of learning through self-reflection and interaction are related to theories on intercultural competence.
