The Eighth CiCe Research Student Conference and Doctoral Workshop: New Researchers for the New Europe: Identities and citizenship education: Controversy, crisis and challenges took place from12-13 June 2013, University of Lisbon, Portugal.
The conference offered an exciting training opportunity for PhD students, with doctoral training sessions, poster sessions and the opportunity for research students to present papers to a smaller audience. It was attended by 19 students from 9 different countries reflecting research in the humanities, psychology, social sciences and education.
